A PeekaHoo home screen showing tiles of family members

Video messages from family, just for your child.

Grandparents, aunts, uncles, close friends record short messages whenever they have a moment. Your child taps a familiar face and watches when they’re missing them.

Faces they’ll know

Short messages from family and close friends help your child recognize the people they don’t see in person often.

Voices, smiles, the quirks that make each person them — familiar through repetition.

Stay close, miles apart

Send a hello straight to your child from anywhere — no social-network friending, no shared timelines.

Built for family and friends scattered across cities, countries, or time zones.

You approve everything

Every video and profile change waits for your approval before your child sees it.

Why we built PeekaHoo

Our daughter asks to see pictures of grandparents, aunts, and uncles — over and over. We’d scroll through camera rolls hunting for a video where she could hear their voice, and the right one was always hard to find.

She also is interested in tapping apps on the phone. We wanted to encourage that connection to her family — but not the rest of what’s on the phone. And video calls only work when everyone’s available at the same time.

PeekaHoo fills the gap. Family records short messages whenever they have a moment; we approve them; she taps a familiar face when she’s missing them.
